RESOLUTION
the IV Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people
“On participation in elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine,
Verkhovna Rada of the ARC and bodies of local self-government”
Simferopol, November 11, 2001
Considering the issue “On participation of the Crimean Tatar people in
elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada of the ARC and bodies of local self-government”,
the Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people.
Resolves to:
Approve the Agreement on political alliance between the Mejlis of
the Crimean Tatar people and the National RUKH (Movement) of Ukraine, which was signed on July 31, 2001.
Approve as candidates in the list of the National RUKH of Ukraine
on elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa
Dzhemilev to be in first ten of the list and Chubarov Refat to be in the second ten.
Consider the issues connected with elections of people’s deputies
of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Verkhovna Rada of the ARC and local bodies of self-government at special
conference of the IV Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people.
