dedicated to 150th anniversary of
Ismail-bey Gasprinskyi’s birth
Accept my congratulations on the occasion of the memorable date for which your
meeting is conveyed.
One of the famous sons of the Crimean Tatar people, who were respectfully named
by contemporaries a teacher of teachers, Ismail-bey Gasprinskyi takes, by rights, a deserving place among scientists
in the world.
The selfless activity of this prominent person – is the bright example of
serving to Motherland. His indefatigable publishing, literature, journalist and social-political activity on
the eve of XIX-XX centuries hade a deep influence with formation of literature and culture of Crimean Tatars,
development of ideas of humanism and social progress. It is invaluable an endowment of educator, headed by
him a pedagogical movement in formation of harmonic national education, which was succeeded by other Moslem peoples.
I am sure, that in independent Ukraine, which became a mother for people of
all nationalities, which live on its lands, the ideological and creative legacy of prominent scientist and
humanist will serve a tenable base for spiritual renaissance of the Crimean Tatar people, its integration
into Ukrainian society, peace and consolidation.
